Im busy doing a game catch up and just finished Brutal Legend, not a great fan off Jack Black but i thought he did a pretty good job as did most of the characters/ metal gods (lol). Found the game fun at start but the side missions seemed such a chore after the first few and i couldnt be bothered after 4 or 5 of the same type doing the exact same thing. The "RTS" bits seemed a bit strange, for some reason i would get my butt kicked and couldnt seem to get any where, then when i replayed i would finished it easily without any problems. The hack and slash bits was ok as was the driving but i did enjoy the double team stuff, just for the daft comments. Think the only thing that kept me going was the good characters and the story line although not the best was quite interesting and was well told. Im glad i got this as a rental as i think if i had bought it i would feel a bit let down, the actual length of the game wasnt that long if you take out the side mission stuff. I did enjoy it even though it wasnt great, just wondering if any one else had any thoughts about this game, i really wanted it to be great but IMO it was a let down in some ways, music was AWESOME though lol.

I hated it. I got it on rental and only bothered with the first couple of missions before sending it back as I found it incredibly tedious. The humour was the only strong part to me and once I found out it turned into an RTS (which I had no idea about from the demo) I lost all interest.
