BSG FreeSpace 2 Mod...Where's it gone?

I noticed that the main site is down when I tried to see how it was doing yesterday....does anybody have any idea what's happened to it? Has the mod been cancelled? :*(

I noticed a few threads of "the site is just down..will be back in a day!" but that was quite some time ago...

Does anybody have any ideas?
