Hi there. Today I cleared the CMOS on my PC so that my keyboard worked as it should. After doing so I noticed that my PC freezes regularly on the Blue Screen of Death when playing games such as Skyrim etc. It never did that before clearing CMOS. How do I fix this?

is your harddrive in the right mode?

you know ide mode achi mode raid mode

when you reset your cmos it would have reset that so if you was in achi mode you would get a bsod

it simply wont boot if its in the wrong sata mode(ahci anyway)

are you running latest motherboard bios? id do that first, and what keyboard issues are you having? make sure your usb3 drivers are upto date or try keyboard on the usb2 ports if you have them

enable x.m.p in the bios to setup your memory correctly then see if it bsod's again

what should it be? ide? Clearing CMOS fixed my keyboard issues yesterday but now the issues are back, what can i do?

Assuming your OS is on the ssd, you want to be in ACHI mode.
Also assuming, your keyboard is USB, have you tried it in another port or updated your USB drivers?
And what actually are the "issues" with the keyboard?

i have the latest motherboard bios. I'm using the keyboard in one of the usb 2.0 slots at the back of my mobo. The issues are: 1, when trying to type it sometimes will not register the key presses; 2, sometimes when I type it acts as if i have sticky keys enabled and it sometimes continuously types the same key. e.g. GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG. I know its not the keyboard at fault as its brand new and the exact same thing happened with my last one. I cleared CMOS yesterday and it was all working fine. But today the problems back again.
