For some reason whenever I want to transfer large files or folders, e.g. over 1GB I get BSOD's :(.

It happens with USB transfers, and now from my optical drives as well.

Does anybody have any idea as to why this is?

I can't remember the error code, but it sounds like something in the RAM. The other thing it says is IRQ less than or not equal as well.

I have looked in device manager, but the option to enable disk cache isn't present. I am running two drives in a RAID 1 setup.
replied to your email dude with a pic, so hopefully your drive shows the same as mine in the dev-mgr
