BSOD - graphics / memory?

i keep getting bsods when playing cod2, specially when on ts.
id say 70% are nv4disp.dll plus ive had, 0x00000050 .. 0x0000000a .. 0x0000000d1 & today for the 1st time i got DXG.SYS

do you wreckon its gfx drivers, gfx or ram?
also, what is best drivers for my 7800gt? ive had the 83.xx drivers & atm 81.98, i even formatted yesterday so everything is fresh

if i dont find a cure ill guess ill have to go x1800xt or x1900xt

Id say its ram, do you play overclocked. Put everything on stock and try again.

i put it all back to stock speeds before formatting but its still doing it, jus got a 0x000000a after 2 hours of cod2 with 84.12 drivers
i was thinkin it was something to do gfx has most of them are nv4disp.dll bsods
suppose the geil will have to go back

Ive been getting the same thing after installing the new NV drivers,i know it`s not my memory as ive done memtest and all was ok.

yep, try memtest before you send "good" ram back.
if thats ok, then its the card / drivers
