Hi i have had the pc for a couple of year now and it has started playing up recently. it sometimes runs fine and other times it will take 10 tries to get into windows. specs are

q6600 @ 3 ghz 9 x 333
asus maximus extreme
x4 1gb ddr3 1333mhz ocz platinum
sapphire 4870 1gb
700w coolmaster psu
Nb and cpu water cooled so temps are low there

I was told it may be ram failure but ive tried testing all of them and it crashes regardless. tried upping nb votage and runnig cpu at stock speed but it makes no difference.

I'm beginging to think the mb may have a problem but im no expert

cheers

You have used memtest86 to check all sticks of your ram?

Try swapping out your graphics card if you can, or try stress testing it with a benchmark see if you can cause the BSOD.

Have you checked event viewer for more info that might help?
