Random BSOD i'm getting in a newly built system.

Running stock settings, and has only recently popped up since installing SP2 on XP.

"Machine Check Exception"

Error code STOP 0x0000009c (0x00000004, 0xb2000000, 0x00070f0f)
 
Yup, a bad stick of RAM would be first on the list. You might be able to tweak the problem out with VDIMM or timing adjustments in the BIOS, but it depends if the RAM is just fussy or outright cream-crackered :)
 
using a DFI Lanpary SLI-D and shifted the ram to the yellow slots.. Seems to have cured it now (touch wood)
Thanks for pointing me at ram though!
