Hey guys,

This is really driving me nuts now,While playing BF3 online i keep getting a BSOD,And its always either half way through the round or near the end.

I'm not sure if its BF3 itself,Or AMD drivers or something with my system.

I tested the stability of my system in Prime 95 64bit for about 4 hours,Which may not be enough but Ive been at 3.6Ghz for ages before BF3 came out with no issues in other games.

Voltage for the Cpu is set to Auto in Bios,But it never goes over 65c in prime.

I ran Memtest86 for 7.5 hours last night and it passed 6 tests with no errors so my ram is fine although i found it odd that memtest reports my ram as 4-8-7-24 timings and not 7-8-7-24 but its at 1600Mhz XMP profile.

Any ideas?

Did you get the bsod error code and look it up? If you havent i would look for the dump file aswel for information and post it in here for some of our tech heads to look at.

It goes off so quick mate im unable to catch the code.

I have found the dump file though,Although how you open it i don't know?

Here is what Event viewer is saying,Something to do with my Cpu?...reckon its not getting enough juice for the overclock?

have you tried running the system at default speeds ?

try manually setting the vcore, rather than leaving it on auto.

Yeah i reset it to stock and still had a crash,Thing is its not all the time it crashes,Sometimes i can play a couple of rounds no problems then it just happens.

I get quite high frame rates,I run it at medium settings 1920x1080 because it feels smoother and get about 70-80fps according to Fraps.

download blue screen view. it will list driver.

Thanks,This is what it says for the time it crashed.

Bf3 crashed constantly for me, it was because the graphics card was over clocked, it seemed hyper sensitive to that, putting it back at stock fixed it for me.

Hmm,I only have the card overclocked to 900/1325 though,Catalyst limit and this card is suppose to be a very good card for overclocking anyway,Not that it needs it.

if you haven't already try it at default, along with the processor.

what sort of temps are you running on the processor ?

also, try turning down the gfx settings/resolution you game at to see if it still occurs.

Irrelevant, my overclocked card was 100% totally stable in stress tests and every other bit of software on the planet, it still crashed in BF3 - no idea why.

Its literally that sensitive you MUST return your card to stock settings, im 95% sure it will work fine then.

seems to be a battlefield thing, had similar issues with bf2 and bf2142, the games just seem really sensitive to overclocks.

after it started with bf2 i started using them as ways to stress test any overclocks, i found them to be far more reliable real world than prime etc.
