BSOD IRQ errors

Hi
I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on this: in the past 3 days I've had 3 BSOD which restart the whole system. It reports that irql_not_less_or_equal
After the system restart it reports a critical error, in checking for solution it reports the PCIe driver failed.
I've not updated any drivers recently so I'm think it shouldn't be a buggy driver, but I maybe wrong.
Worth trying the chipset drivers?
If you need any more info please just ask.

Try chipset drivers and run a memtest just in case.

Are you overclocked? Because that's a standard over-cooked CPU error.

Nope the mainboard won't o/c at all. Spent a long time trying to get it to o/c. any FSB increase over 6MHz and it stops posting after checking the amount of RAM!

Done, sorry.
The RAM was tested with memtest when I was trying the overclocking about 6 months ago.

That was 6 months ago. We're you having this issue 6 months ago? If not, test again.

Valid point! No errors detected after the test. Got the drivers installed from the Gigabyte page so we'll see if this happen again.

Not happened yet, does anybody know of anything I can use to stress test it to try and get it happen again?

Nope, just had spotify running in once case and VLC in the other.

Sorry if I'm being thick, got speedfan up and running, which of the tmp sensor would be my northbridge? Never used this one before.

ok, lets try gigabytes own software, if u don't have something called easy tune 5 (or 4) installed, get it here:

Easy tune shows the cpu at 33 degreees and the sytem at 45 degrees. Nothing to out of the ordinary here.

hmm, well if it happens again, it might be worth trying occt and using the gpu memory tester.

it also has psu, ram and cpu stressing
