Morning guys,

I have been getting BSOD a lot recently.

Farcry 4 - Ultra - As soon as the game world loads
Dragon Age Inq. - Ultra - Random times when the lighting changes
COH2 - Max - During heavy snow

My computer spec is as follows:

4790k
780ti tried with 2 different 780's and a 560
1200 EVGA Platinum
16 Dominator DDR3 2400 RAM
no OC (was happening when OC'd)

I have just done a fresh format with nothing installed other then the GPU drivers and the games.

This is really starting to bother me as i cant play anything and decent detail. strangely if i turn details down to high it seems a hell of a lot more stable......

Before the format everytime it BSOD'd it was always the same Nvidia/DX11 driver that caused it ......

Please help!

Try removing all your sticks of RAM except one and try again, if still BSOD swap that stick with another and try again.

Snips, it started after the CPU was OC'd yes, however it is totally back to standard now and the issues are still ongoing.

Nickolp, i will try that now

if you have had a few BSOD's you may have knackered a few windows files

try opening a dos window as admin

sfc /scannow

if this is ok then its time to start possibly testing hardware
