Hello.

Reformatted my computer after being tired of dealing with BSODs from a previous version of Windows 7.
I upgraded my motherboard after my old one died, and upgraded the processor. Sadly as my previous motherboard died and I didn't have a Win7 disc to hand, doing a clean install was not possible. Eventually I managed a clean install using Win 8.

In one night I've had FOUR BSODs from various different causes.
I've ran a memory check using sfc /scannow and it said that it had fixed the corruption.

Here is a link to the Minidumps.

Not sure how to look at them myself, but I hope someone can help!

Did you install all the motherboard drivers for Windows 8.

Use blue screen view and see what it shows in red for the errors.
Am sure netio.Sys is a network driver am sure so check network drivers are upto date.

A disk was provided with the MOBO from which I installed all the drivers from.

I'll use Bluescreen View and run a check.

What I have noticed is previously, when I used an Intel online scanner to detect my drivers, it BSOD when it scanned my Network driver.
I then updated the network driver (despite Windows claiming it was up to date) and thought that would solve the issue.

I'm just hoping my HDD isn't corrupt or my memory isn't fudged!

Rule number one never use a CD for drivers :D

They are always out of date.

In this situation you in I would go into control panel and uninstall every single driver you have added to the system. Go to your motherboard's site and download the latest.

Or what I would do it just backup your data and reinstall windows again fresh and install drivers from the site..

Hello.

I downloaded the new drivers but ran into two BSODs afterwords.
Both of them were IRQL Less than Equal and according to Bluescreen View were both caused by netio.sys !

Any idea how I can fix this?

My motherboard is a Gigabyte Z87-D3HP Intel Z87 (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX Motherboard.

Can you download the drivers on another computer? Laptop and format your pc and install windows fresh and install the up to date drivers?

If you running Windows 8 and you installed driver's from cd they is a very good chance they windows 7 drivers and not 8 this could be why you getting a load of bsod.

Ah, my apologies, I mean that I downloaded the drivers and managed to install them, but ended up running to two BSODs later on.

I downloaded all the ones that Intel had for Win8 64-bit.

This is a fresh install, I reformatted my HDD and install Windows 8 on it on Saturday night.
I'd encountered some BSODs due to my new MOBO/GPU prior to doing this.

OK you never said you had done this... It's looking more like a hardware issue.
Check to make sure you ram timings are correct in the bios and it's voltage is also correct.

Sorry for the double post.

I checked the timings and the voltages and they matched exactly. I suppose that rules out that problem!

Had another BSOD just now, related to my AVG, another less than or not equal, but Blue Screen Viewer also said that:

ntoskrnl.exe

was the culprit. Looking through all the other logs, that consistently appears as an error in every BSOD!

Cool. I shall do this tonight and report back tomorrow.

Will dodgy memory potentially damage my system? I ask because at the moment I can't really afford to buy new memory till the start of next month. I'm quite happy to ride a few BSODs until then.

Any recommendations on what memory to get?
My specs currently are:

i5 4670k
Gigabyte Z87-D3HP
Geforce GTX 670
G-Skill 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1600mhz Ripjaws Memory Kit CL9 (9-9-9-24) 1.5V
and
G-Skill 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600Mhz RipjawsX Memory Kit CL9 (9-9-9-24) 1.5V
Windows 8 64bit.

Any suggestions for alternatives/upgrades? They seem to be no longer sold!
