BSOD on wake up (SSD)

Hello,

Having an issue where I get blue screen of death when waking up system from sleep mode. Don't get it any other time. System then recovers itself and resumes windows. Anyone know what might be the cause?

What SSD are you using?

If it is a Vertex LE then they don't support S3 sleep, and will flake out after a resume.

Looks like to Vertex 2's have issues too according to this thread.

i had the same issue with my Vert 2, i sold it and got a diff SSD

Could you try updating to the latest Rapid Storage drivers if you're using them since the release notes claim to fix some BSOD issues when using sleep mode

How come the intel site doesnt have that driver? Latest on there is 9.6.0.1014

I have noticed that on my vertex 2.
However as its in a desktop that is on most of the time while I am using it I changed the sleep time to kick in after 2 hours.

No idea, but it works fine and supposedly fixes some BSOD problems.
