BSOD system thread exception after turning pc on from sleep

So , i was having this problem now and again which just started happening for no apparent reason.
I Decided to uninstall amd(gpu drivers) and try ddu and a reinstall but after uninstalling the drivers i could not load ddu ( also catalyst uninstaller stopped responding after uninstall finished).
So i restarted my pc and now cant boot into windows. It gets to the time/date screen but i cant load up the box to put my password in. (Maybe usb drivers uninstalled and keyboard/mouse not working).
Where should i go from here? Shall i just reset/refresh windows? I didnt have too much stuff anyway as pc only 2 or so months old.
Sorry if my sentences are everwhere. Typing on phone.

Also , how would i wipe the hdd and reinstall windows 8.1. Do i just insert the cd and pick some option? Would the bios still be there?

stick your windows 8.1 cd or usb in, f10(or whatever key it is for your motherboard) to select boot device, boot from the cd or usb, follow the prompts. Nice and easy.

Ah cool. Will this wipe the hdd and reinstall without a problem then bear in mind ive already uninstalled all gpu drivers.

Sorry to drag this out but dont want to mess this up.
when i format my hdd with the windows 8.1 disk do i have to insert the mobo disk again for chipset drivers etc or can i just get into windows and download the latest ones for my board?

As above, just update once windows install is complete. Also don't bother with the mobo disk, just go to the manufacturers website and download all your drivers from from there. They'll more than likely be more upto date than the ones on the disk.
 
Ah cheers guys. One more question. Shall i do an original format deleting the drive partitions etc or shall i use the "reset" that comes with windows 8.1?
first time doing this so just making sure i do it correct.

As i've just installed an SSD. If I just unplug my HDD and install windows on my SSD , could I just wipe/format my HDD later on?
Would this cause any problems?

Dont want to be a nuisance but bumping this as want to get it done asap and i dont have the confidence to do so without direction as this is my first "format".

Ive found some threads on the forum finally and it seems ok as ssd will be the boot drive it would be fine.

Apologies that I keep coming back to this but the "refresh" option on my windows 8.1 disk has worked (arbeit lots of programs have been removed etc). So now, can I just format/erase this entire HDD of everything (o/s) etc so I can install my o/s on my SSD and do a fresh install of everything else on the HDD?
When I click on "format" it doesn't allow me access as it's my C drive.
I appreciate all the help, this forum is amazing.

Sorry to bump this, but want to get this done.

If I've understood what you want to do correctly, you'd need to unplug the HDD first, then plug in the SSD and install Windows on it. Once that's done, add the HDD again (now it won't be C drive) and you should be able to format it.

Yes you have. Thank you. Is it easier to do it the way you suggest then? Instead of formatting the hdd first ? Regards.
 
I don't know if there's an easier way to be honest. It's just the way I do it. Afterwards, when you connect the HDD again and boot, you may need to change the boot order to the SSD if priority has changed back to the HDD. That should do it I think.
