Just turned me 'puter on and getting BSOD when windows xp is halfway loaded, ie. The logo with the bar underneath. Rig in sig, removed overclock and still same, safe mode BSODs an all. Any ideas? Cheers.

Try a CMOS reset (if you haven't done it already when removing the clock) and then load up optimized defaults or similar.

As a starter, try 1 stick of memory (and then the other if that doesn't work) and different slots.

If you still don't get any joy - try a skeleton setup (only the cpu, 1 stick memory and gfx card).

Hmm.. that could be several things... might just be a corrupt boot partition.

try loading the windows install disk, go into the repair console, and try these commands.

fixmbr
fixboot

doesn't matter which order... if one fails, try the other, and that would prove the fault.
