BSOD!! :(

Hi,

I keep getting freezes then restarts.

Says,

Problem Event Name BlueScreen

Running Win7 64bit
Never had this before, so all new to me.
Any idea what's wrong ?

It could be a number of things, but an underpowered PSU gave me similar problems.
This is the PSU i have.

i7 920 @4.2 temps 100%load temps are 77 74 75 75
5970 @850 1200 (never had problems with it clocked)

I'd try everything at stock, this heat might be to blame I guess.

EDIT: or just lower your CPU a bit first, to say 4GHz, I doubt you will notice the difference, unless you are a benchmark freak LOL

Only seems to crash when i clock my card. don't get it, was ok before, volts are fine and temps.. hmmmm odd. running everything on a Asus P6T Deluxe OC Palm Edition.

Any idea ?
P.s/ sometimes it's fine after good time playing. but then bang gives me issues :(

The bugcheck code points to the graphics device driver which means the problem probably lies with the driver or the card itself. If it only crashes when you clock the card then there is your answer. Perhaps try a different driver.

I have tried 10.4 5 and 6.

Still samething :( can't really RMA it. as it only seems to happen just on a little bit of clocking :( is it normal for the gpu 1 to go up2 100% usage now and then on idle ?
