BSOD

Hi there. I was wondering how "normal" is to see a BSOD nowadays. I haven't seen one in years and , all of a sudden, my system crashed while playing Assassin's Creed Revelations. A BSOD and then reboot.

Should i ignore it and see if it happens again?
Should i do s'thing?
Maybe I should add that three days ago , while playing another game, we had a power blackout, which lasted for a few minutes. Could these things be connected?

I had a few when I was trying to stabilise my new PC and blue screen viewer was recommended; with it you can see what the problem might be from the code when the BSOD shows and that can indicate hardware, software drivers etc as the root cause. Might help.

Is Assassin's Creed Revelations known to cause crashes?

For what it's worth, Assassins Creed always used to crash for my brother until I rolled back his overclock a touch. It's seems a particularly sensitive game.

check your eventlog it might show errors leading up to crash.

No, i didn't check s'thing in particular, EXCEPT run Bluescreenview, reccomended by a friend. The result was the following:

As i see it , it had s'thing to do with drivers.Does that give me peace of mind?
How do you check the discs and eventlog you suggested?

Press [WinKey]+[E], right-click a drive and select Properties. The disk checker can be found under the Tools tab.
