Ok, basically, I bought a new Seagate 7200.10 250GB hard drive and tried to install it yesterday. I hadn't partitioned it and i received the KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR once. After restarting the pc then worked fine again for a few hours, then a KERNEL_STACK_INPAGE_ERROR came up. I then restarted and ran chkdsk, no problems.
Next I partitioned the hard drive and since then, i've had 3/4 more KERNEL_STACK_INPAGE_ERROR screens at regular intervals. The odd thing was I was downloading from Fileplanet at each of these BSOD's and whenever they came up, afterwards the download would be at the same state it was before the errors.
A little help please?
Thanks,
Limehouse.
Update: I'm running chkdsk again and it says that
WARNING! F parameter not specified
Running CHKDSK in Read-Only mode.
