ok gents im on win 7 ultimate and im getting a lot of Freezes, Black screens and Bsods.

ill attach a few of the reports could some one please help

http://pastebin.com/b7Zz78jf

thats the latest from blue screen view
system Specs are.

i7 930 socket 1366
6GB DDR 3 (2 x 133MHz and 1x 1066Mhz) 2x asint 2x2gig ddr3 1033 and 1 x kingston 2 gig ddr3
Intel DX58SO motherboard with latest BIOS
2 x 500GB Sata 2 HDD
Corsair HX 1050 PSU
Power Colour r9 290 4 gig ddr5

The crashing is random sometimes occurring while gaming, at the end of gaming, on Desktop, browsing the internet or idling. Most of the time the display freezes and the mouse and ketyboard capslock lights working. Other times the screen is black and no display and occaisionaly a BSOD. The keyboard capslock usually responds and the hard disk activity is flashing if it's not a BSOD.

What we have tried so far:

-Flashed graphics card BIOS with the updated one emails from Power colour.
-We have scanned for viruses and Malware
-Tested the power supply appears to be outputting 12v and 5v as normal.
-We have changed the power adapters supplying the card.
-The PSU is modular and we have changed the sockets the power is supplied from on the PSU and spread them on the available sockets.
-Changed operating systems Windows 8.1, Windows 7 home premium x64 and Windows 7 Ultimate x64
-Tried Drivers from Power Color website and AMD website CCC 13.6, 14.4 and 14.10 (Beta)
-Tried testing with only 2x2GB 1333MHz RAM
-Checked motherboard settings - no overclocking
-scanned hard disks for bad sectors
-changed PCI-E socket from socket 1 to to 2
-Disabling CCC
-Removed browsers apart from IE
-Set all Power Saving Options never turn off including hard disk.
-Tried Passmark and other testing software.
-Monitored card temperatures - not operating above recomended temperatures.
-ran mem test and has passed

ANY IDEA's WELCOME IM AT A LOSS HERE PEOPLE !!!!!!!!

any bios switch on that graphic card? think there is,tried it with switch in the other position?

not a good idea to run mixed memory either,8gb matched dual channel would be better

could try a touch more iho/ich voltage maybe one/two clicks over auto,it also might be labelled differently on intel boards ive only used asus/gigabyte x58

also try with 1.25-1.3v qpi/vtt or anything labelled vtt (its for the integrated memory controller)

if it still keeps crashing it could be down to poor mb bios support for your new 290 gpu

i have adjusted the QPI didnt really understand the other bit you wrote about the iho/ich voltage. i hope this works as ive not had a stable system in weeks.

This is the RAM sub-forum so I'll mention memtest86 and memtest86+ as ways to check your RAM is working well, however it sounds more like your graphics card is the source of your woes, or perhaps your PSU. Perhaps try underclocking the graphics card and/or it's memory, see if that helps?

Also check if there is a new mobo bios available?

1v wouldn't have been enough, just see how it is now over next few days

max safe is 1.4v but you shouldn't need that much at all, around the 1.25v to 1.3v mark is fine

Well still having the odd crashes i ran memtest no errors so im rma my r9 290 the company has told me to so i will see if that fixes it ill post back once new card arrives gotta send it from the UK to the Netherlands :)
