BSOD's Uninstalling Sound Card

Every now and then during Command and Conquer 3 my computer BSOD;s (usually when im winning

), I reboot to find that my sound doesn't work and the sound card (X-FI Music) is not installed!!

Used updated drivers and it didnt fix the problem

Any ideas?

1. What Os are you using ?
2. Set your pc at stock and see if it still crashes maybe ?
3. We can carry one once 1 is filled out....

Uninstall the drivers,
boot into safe mode
use driver cleaner to clear out any x-fi files lying around
reboot normally and reinstall the latest driver.

Try changing slots the card is installed in too. Creative soundcards are usually picky about slots. :/
