I watch adverts.
I don't see the point of flicking over to another program, advert break is 4-5 minutes and that isn't enough time to get enjoyment from something and get a full overview.
And you run the risk of enjoying the program you've flicked to MORE than what you WERE watching which is absolute madness. Madness!

I pause it when adverts come on, go make a cup of tea and get some biscuits, then I can catch up and skip part of the next adverts. I do this every 15 minutes or so, which is why I'm 40 stone.
On the plus side if I was in the USA I'd be much fatter due to more frequent ad breaks.
