BT Advice Needed

I had BT TV put in this year - Had no aerial on my house either. I got it done myself by a local company. Charged £70 including the aerial.

Oh, he used...... a ladder. The shock!

Well yeah, it's normal to get it done on the cheap if the guy cuts corners.
 
It's pretty simple fitting an aerial in the loft yourself. You will likely then need to find where all the coax from your current sockets end up (likely the loft itself) then you just need to get a signal booster and socket to that point. It's a mornings work and not a lot of money really.

If you don't get signal from a decent aerial and booster then you must live in the middle of no where.


What speed internet are you getting? What minimum are you supposed to get? They will let you out of contract if they can't meet the minimum.
