A mate of mine is using the browser supplied by BT Yahoo to access the internet.

He has collected a fair few favourites now, and yesterday, he migrated to BT Business Broadband ( And thats a bloody mistake thats already cost him a fair few quid, but thats another story ).

Anyway, he has now lost the favourites unless he logs onto the BT Yahoo account, which is soon to be killed off!

So, is there any way at all, that the favourites can be saved out, and then imported to the new one, or even better to IE or Firefox, or even as a HTML File FFS!!

found this on the btyahoo support pages..... :)

BT Yahoo! Bookmarks is a feature that allows you to store all of your favourite sites into your account on our server. This means that you can access these whenever you log into the BT Yahoo! Browser or portal from any location. Because they are stored on the server, this also means that if you have to reinstall Windows or the BT Yahoo! Browser software, your bookmarks will be reloaded from the server automatically the next time you sign into your account.

Exporting Bookmarks from the BT Yahoo! Browser

1. Sign into the browser using the BT Yahoo! Broadband account you wish to export your bookmarks from

2. Go to the 'Bookmarks' menu at the top and select 'Edit Bookmarks...'

3. Click on 'Export Bookmarks'

4. Follow the on screen instructions.

Is that all it is???

Bloody hell.

Cheers mate.

I dont use it myself, but I said that there might be some kind of EXPORT function in the bookmarks, but obviously he hasnt even bothered to look?

Thanks a lot mate.
