BT broadband settings

Hi , i have the BT Home hub and been on bt broadband for a year , just bought a linksys router/modem WAG54G2.
Set it up no problem , but the final setup screen asked for username and password ( not the actual router one which is admin,admin).
Went back to my old Bt hub connection , and it does not ask for a username and password.
Anyone know where i can get the info from before i phone India.

Username = [email protected]
Password = bt(if it asks)

This is your ADSL username and password that you're looking for right?

Wouldn't you have been told that on paperwork when you signed up to BT?

Don't phone their callcentre, it's a total rip.

The original router will have used something like [email protected] with no password.

I've had success using the email address given to you with the contract e.g. [email protected] or [email protected] and the password for that. Still worked, though haven't tried many other combinations.

anything before the @ and any password should work, it's only the realm you need.
