Hi there,
My parents finally decided to get broadband - I think what swung them was the BT Broadband Voice package, which offers Broadband and free phone calls via their voice over IP Package.
I went to see them over the bank holiday weekend, fitted and wired a telephone extension to their room up stairs and installed Voyager router supplied by BT.
The internet access is working fine, however I am unable to get the router to accept the Broadband Voice connection, even though I have the correct credentials.
I have spoken to BT Broadband Voice Tech support who believe that there is an account issue (they tried registering my parents' account on their own router without success).
I logged the call with them nearly two weeks ago, and on chasing it earlier this week, the "back-office" team don't even appear to have looked into the issue.
I wouldn't normally mind, however my parents are paying for a service they aren't receiving.
Has anyone else had problems like this with BT?
Cheers
HaX
