BT Infinity 2

I've got Infinity 2 and ran into the cap after 13 days. Yes it was 100GB and they told me I'd be throttled back to 2Meg until my next bill. I got a bit annoyed after a couple of calls but then sent an email to their CEO things changed pretty fast.
They removed my cap and they are looking at how people are using with a view to revising it upwards. They are also going to provide realtime stats so you know exactly how much you've used in a month.
I'm seeing downloads speeds of between 20 and 35Meg and uploads between 7 and 10Meg. Have to say I'm pleasantly surprised by the service.

traffic shaping is not the answer, better packages is.if someone wants to push 300gb per week and is willing to pay £40pm whats the problem? why should traffic management apply to them as well when they have properly paid for it? i despise software shaping.zen are the best company out there tbh low pings fast speeds and a 100gb limit with nothing shaping or messing with what i want to do.

a prime example is p2p football in the peak times, impossible on most connections as trafifc shaping has borked the whole thing.there are what 2 companys out there not using some kind of software to monitor or limit so there ist much choice left, made worse by zen not even asking if you would like to pay for £200gb.

i think isps need to just offer us what we want and for everyone else who wants it for £15pm well just let them go to talktalk or something.using excuses like its illegal content doesnt help as you can push 300gb legally if like me you use it for TV,music,games,torrents,p2p football.all my entertainment comes down my phone line hence the high usage, this is a trend thats going to continue.

is it wrong to want to watch one 1080p movie each day or something? if it keeps going like this the net will be complete pants in a year or two.
