Hey guys, so recently (I've only really noticed this over the past two nights) at around 7-9PM, maybe it's longer.

But whenever I do a speedtest, I'm getting around 10mb / 6mb when normally, I'm getting my full 70-73 / 18 (through my powerline adapters).

I tried this on my main computer, my laptop and my phonaand all three of them are displaying the same results.

Any idea what's going on?

Speedtest.net results:

Computer: 25ms / 8.37mbps download / 15.98 upload
Laptop: 38ms / 8.28mbps download / 14.522 upload

I've just tried Speedtest.net now on my Infinity 2...some servers 8mb download, some 20-30mb and some 65mb which is my speed so seems the servers are battered or something.

Test downloading from a website with fast servers or a Steam game.

Must be a dodgy pipe down London.

I get this on a midlands based one

Some London based servers are only 8mb

Your speeds are very similar to mine, I've tried 3 different servers from three different locations, here's what I NORMALLY get:

And this is the speed I'm getting right now, same server etc:

To the best of my knowledge, this has only been happening as of recently, could there be some kind of work going on in my area at night time or what? It's starting to get a little bit frustrating to be honest with you.

Speed test gives me all kinds of funny results depending on server. Steam gives a solid 8MB/s download. Wouldn't worry about it.

Yeah mate, I've tried it all, I've tried speedtest.net, their own speedtest.btwholesale website, same results.

Like I said, I've tried it on three different devices (Macbook, Gaming computer using Powerlines and my iPhone), all three of them gave me similar speeds, as to what I linked earlier.

It's back to being fine now, so I'm not sure what it is, I'm currently getting this at 1:42pm:

But this has been happening for the past 2-3 days and I'm really unsure as to what is going on really, I don't think I've experienced this in the past, but I could be wrong.

Test using something a bit more real as suggested steam or bit torrent some linux iso's these will give you a much better indication of what is actually going on than some artificial speed test website.
