Hi guys me again.
So I have now just installed my 20m of ethernet cable from downstairs to upstairs and for some unknown reason it is now not working. My old connection works fine but the new cable isn't being picked up by my PC when I plug it in. Strangely if I connect one of the powerline sockets with the new cable and then run the second powerline with another cable the connection works fine so this would suggest the cable is still working but for some unknown reason if I plug the line into my router and then into my PC it doesn't work. More frustratingly is that before I started drilling holes I tested it and it worked fine.
Any ideas?
