I picked up my mums laptop last night as she was having issues with connecting to the internet via wireless through her homehub 3. I took her laptop home and uninstalled her drivers and reinstalled, and it worked fine on my homehub 3, wired and wireless.
Take it back to her house and it worked for a while but then it goes. It is still connected to the internet but it is so slow that google won't even load. Reset it and sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Wiring it in is a bit more stable but still sporadic.
Could this be a problem with the hub? I have heard that the homehub 3's are a bit crap but not had any issues with mine. I'm going to take her over my old homehub 2 to try to see if it is anymore stable. Is there anything obvious I could try? I am a bit of an amateur when it comes to Routers and internet etc.
