Having a look on the new MVNO BT Mobile and i think the prices are very competitive. Anyone else tempted to move to them?

I am currently on Three and am kinda tired with the rather poor 4G rollout, along with what seems like slowly worsening network congestion. BT Mobile runs on EE so the 4G will be much better than Three's, the 20GB plan is the one i'm looking at.

Opinions? Yay or nay? I think more choice of mobile providers can only be a good thing. Especially when they are very competitive. £63 cashback too on TCB.

Can anyone confirm if tethering works? received offer in post and clearly says on the back "You cannot tether"

I dont want to tie in for 12 months if thats not possible.

ty

AFAIK it does work just isn't officially supported. I can let you know for sure on tuesday hopefully when my sim arrives.

How long did it take to have your BT order confirmed by email, I have received the initial order email, I now waiting for my confirmation email.

I have also got EE retentions ringing me as well. I said 5gb of data, and Iphone 6 for under £30 a month would make me consider staying, retentions guy has gone off to speak to manager to see what he can do. He said he would ring me back in 30mins. We will see what he comes back with.

EE retentions called me back, £31.99 per mth, free Iphone 6, unlimited calls, unlimited texts, 4GB data , Extra tariff so free use of calls and texts allowance from abroad - £31.99 per mth.

Tempting.....

I got the confirmation email right away. Do you think 4GB of data is enough for you? You get more for less with BT Mobile. Only downside to BT Mobile is that speed is capped at 30Mbps, but that's still faster than you'll probably ever need.

I have been on a 5GB 12mth SIM only deal for the past 15mths, it expired in January 2015, they checked my usage and the highest monthly data use was 3.1GB so 4GB should be fine.

I rang BT mobile back and my application had got stuck at the credit checking point and they were going to call me back, I had the time at my address incorrect. So I have cancelled the BT order and called EE back to take the Iphone 6 offer.

I just wanted access to EE's network. Far better than Three's for indoor coverage and LTE.

Seems EE have enabled my sleepy little village in rural North Wales for LTE in the last couple of days. Excitement. :D

Is there a way of telling what frequency it's on? Can't seem to find any app which tells you.
