Having a look on the new MVNO BT Mobile and i think the prices are very competitive. Anyone else tempted to move to them?

I am currently on Three and am kinda tired with the rather poor 4G rollout, along with what seems like slowly worsening network congestion. BT Mobile runs on EE so the 4G will be much better than Three's, the 20GB plan is the one i'm looking at.

Opinions? Yay or nay? I think more choice of mobile providers can only be a good thing. Especially when they are very competitive. £63 cashback too on TCB.

Yes you can. You select what size sim you want during checkout.

It's not crap. Speeds have become generally quite poor though.

Just had to get my PAC off Three, that was a chore.

How long did it take cashback to start tracking on TCB for people? Ordered a few hours ago and it still hasn't tracked.

AFAIK it does work just isn't officially supported. I can let you know for sure on tuesday hopefully when my sim arrives.

I had my first ever PPI call. Seems odd after 2 days of moving to BT Mobile. Didn't answer it as the calls would never end if i did.

I got the confirmation email right away. Do you think 4GB of data is enough for you? You get more for less with BT Mobile. Only downside to BT Mobile is that speed is capped at 30Mbps, but that's still faster than you'll probably ever need.

Seems EE have enabled my sleepy little village in rural North Wales for LTE in the last couple of days. Excitement.

Is there a way of telling what frequency it's on? Can't seem to find any app which tells you.

The LTE signal seems to hold for longer than the 3G signal. So their LTE right now is 1800 and their 3G is 2100? If so that explains why LTE holds on a bit longer.

I assume 800Mhz will be used mostly in rural areas with lower mast density?
