I noticed that they offer free BT Wifi access if you subscribe to BT mobile. I just wondered if anyone knows if I'd be able to use my laptop with this ?

Should be able to, but bare in mind most BT wifi hotspots is just 10% of BT broadband customer's connections, so I found the service to be very hit and miss and pretty unreliable most of the time. Sky's The Cloud and O2 Wifi works better and is also free.

To access the free wifi you have to download an app called BT wifi.
So I don't think you can do it on a laptop

I've never downloaded the App!

I just use my Home Phone Number and a Password I've set up!! (I'm a BT Broadband Customer though!)

As above you don't need to use the app (in fact whilst I have it installed I have it disabled).

All the app does is handle the logging in for you. It's not required.

Apparently you get BT Sports is it possible to watch it on the TV with a Android box or something ?

If you have access to the mobile app you can cast BT Sport to your TV using a Chromecast. That's what I do and it works great most of the time.
