I'm thinking of changing to a BT Sim only contract.

Is BT generally good..?

I have noticed Vodafone isn't very well regarded.

Users opinions? :)

They use the EE network for obvious reasons. Where I live in Wiltshire I don't get 4G but real towns and cities I do.
Probably best to look on a coverage checker for your area. Speeds from 3G up are good. Not had any issues with service so I have been with them.

I'm with BT, £15 for 20GB Data, Unlimited Minutes & Texts.
Coverage is excellent.
Never had to use customer service though so can't comment there.

I'd definitely recommend them every time.

Another BT customer

Really good value if you're a BB customer. I get 2GB data for £9 a month.

Astronomical charges if you go over your limit though. 3 beats them hands down for that

You had a look on my BT?

I only ask because the other day I went on and looked at change my plan and it was letting me change my plan free of charge.

I am on 3gb for £10 a month but it was letting me bump it upto 4gb.

Brother moved to BT a couple of weeks ago and is getting very good speeds and good coverage in London. I'll be joining him next week once I use up my giffgaff credit.

I missed the £9 offer but I see they're doing a deal on the 15GB one for £16 right now, so will probably go for that.

Im with EE I nearly went with BT but they couldn't provide me a signal booster so I went with EE as they could as my house is a black spot.

when im out and about which being honest is mainly rural ive not had any major problems signal wise.

I was with o2 before but there local mast has spent more time not working than it has working so we moved network.

Yeah switched to BT Mobile a few months ago, getting really good signal, good speeds and so far no problems and got the following;

Unlimited Texts
Unlimited Minutes
15GB Internet

For £16 a month as we have BT Broadband.

I went through quidco as well for £40 cashback and got £80 in Amazon vouchers from their deal at the time. So technically only costing me £72 for the year. :)

Thanks!!

I only changed my plan from 500MB £5 a month to 2GB £9 a month a few weeks ago.

Changed now to 1GB for £5 a month as that's all I need really.

I switched from Three towards the end of last year, been very happy so far. Cheaper, better signal, better 3G/4G speeds, and a better app for keeping track of usage too.

I only see 500MB, 2GB and 15GB plan, how do you get 3GB or 4GB plan?

Switched from three when they chucked me off the one plan to the 20gb BT plan. No problems at all, only downside is when roaming abroad, no feel at home or roaming data packs so basically forget using data abroad.

Thanks for all your input guys. :D :D :D

I'll go for this deal I think .

I don't have BT Broadband but £21 still a bargain.

I went to the canaries last month and BT Mobile wanted £10 for 300mb - lasted me the whole two weeks :)

(and the connection was decent with mostly 3g and sometimes 4g connection)

After being with Vodafone for 17 years I left a couple of months ago (they botched my account during an upgrade and couldn't fix it) and switched to BT. I'm not a BT customer so pay £14 for 2gb/500min/unlimited text. I got about £35 back from topcashback too.

I went with BT on the recommendation of a colleague and have been happy so far. There was an issue with porting my number I didn't even notice but their customer service people called a couple of times a day to keep me updated on progress. Roaming costs in France for a week were less than I'd have paid on Vodafone too. Coverage in London seems better than Vodafone too.

All in all I'm pleased with the move.
