BT Parental Controls - wtf

Awkward conversation though.

"Hi, I'm trying to find out why my parental lock keeps activating."
"Sorry sir, what are you trying to access."
"Cough.. well.. adult videos."
"Thank you sir. I can't see anything wrong with your account, so I'll need to investigate further. What content are you trying to open specifically?"
"Midget blondes Riding Blacks 2: Rodeo"

:p

That's the 3rd in the series. Get it right

Funny, have had a BT parental controls pop-up tonight after visiting Imgur.
Same laptop as I always use, had the BT account for about 7 months now and told the parental controls to **** off on day 1.
Nice that the No Thanks option takes you away from the site and then closes the tab... Thanks for your intrusion BT.

maybe it just filters words based on frequency of use ?

I had this a while back but it stopped happening as randomly as it started, and I haven't had it since.

Change the DNS lookup on your router (or just your computer) to 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4 (google DNS) or the Open DNS IP's. The block appears to just be based on BT's standard DNS table.

That's if it's already been set. As usual a block takes about 30 seconds to bypass, probably less for any self respecting 15 year old. :p

Phone BT and tell them how perturbed you were to discover you couldn't have your morning **** session and to take off the restrictions.

Then tell them you want compensating for your lost splooge session.
