BT Prices rising again!

Well all went well. Connection dropped at 3.30am. Broadband connected at 8.56am.
Lost 10mb from my download speed but I hope that will sort itself out. Upload speed is the same though.
I like the Member center better on Plusnet site also.

Six days in and I'm all back up to speed after the move to PlusNet.
On a Huawei cabinet, line reset every 48hours three times setting up to get back up to full speed.

Simps, I'd not use the PlusNet router it quite poor.

It's still in the box and so is the 2nd one they sent me today lol :D I'm using my HH5a which is what I was using before. Never had any problems with it.

How much did yours drop by on switch day ?

ECI cab ouch, you have my sympathy No G.imp so no dropping to a 3db noise margin :(.

I went BT 52/10 to PN 80/20 think I lost 1mb or gained 1mb on transfer day, router has been resyncing every 48hours with gains, I'm 6 days in now and 66MB with the first drop down to 5db SN ratio this morning.
Hopefully it will go 4db then 3db over the next week or so to get me to 70MB .

I'm on a long rural line of 800M +to the cab but have vectoring on my line, My line attenuation is 22.4db, so managing to get a 70mb connection on it will be amazing!, if I get there.

Edit for the Pic

It resynced in the morning and went back to normal speeds. Took 49 hours so not bad. Doubt I will get any more out of the line tbh.
Pings are better too now I was getting a lot of stuttering on youtube and twitch yesterday, all ok today :) From 23ms down to 10ms pinging bbc

Thanks for the info and advice @Troop

NP were both going through the training/setup period.
Still resyncing every 48hours, with my latest early this morning now at 4db SN.

Line Coding (Trellis) On On
SNR Margin (dB) 4.5 5.9
Attenuation (dB) 22.3 0.0
Output Power (dBm) 13.3 -4.1
Attainable Rate (Kbps) 76511 7941
Rate (Kbps) 73005 7941

Edit to add.

Before the 3db SN (old 6db) and no vectoring on my line my max connection speed was 46000k.
Had the 3db profile for 18 months now, vectoring for 1year, they both made a huge difference to my connection speed. using a billion 8800NL

Well my download speeds are down tonight. Line is still active and Noise margins have not changed. Bit strange as it's been fine all day.

Had the move over to EE at 04:11 this morning, pretty much seamless although I did loose 18Mb/sec download but given the SNR the speed should increase over the next few weeks - previously connected at 76Mb/sec with SNR of 3.3, now SNR is at 6.1.

Just make sure you don't restart your router and it should resync after 48h.
Mine has gone stable again now but I only resynced the once so far and it's been 1 week since the line switched to plusnet.

I never restart the modem and even that is kept going with a UPS despite what the local power grid does! Hopefully back to the full 76 later this week. It was a bit of a shock to see the change in speed but thankfully I know it's only temporary.

Just had notification that my line saver is coming up for renewal at the end of the month, and it's gone up again! I think it's time to start looking around again, after 3 years with BT. I always hate changing in case there's a problem and I lose my slot in the cabinet.
Had Plusnet before and it was ok, and some cashback deals around too.

My activation date was yesterday.. Still not connected :( no idea why there's a 2 week delay? The previous owner had Fibre in the house.

Engineer was ill so did not fulfill his commitment. Rescheduled for Monday. My bloody luck!

Just got home from work, looks as though as 9:45 the speed increased to 66348 and the SNR stayed the same, just 10Mb/sec to go and we're back on form!

Good good. Mine still has not resynced again but I didn't expect anymore out of my line anyway. It's been 6 days 16h 32m since mine resynced.
