BT disgust me, it's a shame I'm stuck with them for a 12 month contract.
Trouble started when trying to move in to my new house. I pre-ordered by broadband + line a month in advance so that when I moved in, it would be ready. I move in mid-september to discover I have no line or connection, just a BT home hub. So I spent about a week on my mobile phone calling these fools, and each person I spoke to contradicted each other. Turns out some ***** had broke into the local distribution box for my street and tore out the cables over the summer, and BT hadn't noticed until I reported. A couple of weeks later they fixed my box but still took an age to connect me up.
I was pretty disgusted by their service, and how they never seem to be able to contact me. They had to resubmit my order over half a dozen times, surely they should have realized that if they can't connect me then there is something wrong? They say they would contact me back everytime but they ring back a week later when I've already found out what they had to say by ringing them up. They eventually sent me a letter about 1 month after I was supposed to have been connected telling me they are experiencing problems trying to connect my line and need me to contact them. Im assuming this note was supposed to have been sent out weeks ago.
This company is a disgrace and shouldn't even be allowed to take anyones money until they sort themselves out.
