BT Vision - Whats everyone think?

Think when my contracts up to moving away from Sky to BT.

Therefore BT calls and BT Vision.

Whats everyone thing about it? Value for Money, Quality etc.

It's basically a freeview box with VOD, my parents have one, looks ok, works well enough.

I don't know much about the pricing structure to say whether it's worth it. It's not really a competitor to sky or Virgin IMO, doesn't have enough channels.

Doesn't it also steal a hefty chunk of your ADSL connection? And not just when it's actually using it.

If by steal you mean use, then sort of. VOD traffic takes a higher priority than normal internet traffic, but if you're not using it, it doesn't slow your net connection down in any noticeable fashion.

If your connection syncs at less than 2mbs, then the box simply won't play ball, which is a bit annoying.
