Are these annoying you as they do me, or do I need to get out more.

"Nobody gives you a better wireless connection than BT Wireless broadband"

Basically because they use 'N' technology. SO WHAT so do O2 and Bebroadband for a start.

Or am I missing something?!?

**** off

Because there really going to make an Advert that says
"Everybody gives you a wireless connection Like BT Wireless broadband"

If you take the statement "Nobody gives you a better wireless connection than BT Wireless broadband" literally, then to me it says that if I don't bother getting wireless broadband from anyone, I'm better off. I'm pretty sure in BT's case thats accurate.

So they are misleading the consumer then right with the 'Nobody' bit
Possibly misleading, but not telling lies. The key word is better.
The same thing could be said in a less appealing way, such as: "we are the same as everybody else, so nobody is doing anything better than us!"

I use a WAG160N on a connection that doesn't have all the stupid limits that BT force upon you. Dos that mean mine that is a better wireless connection than the one they're peddling in those adverts?

HomeHubs suck. The majority of their customers are sitting with laptops with a G wireless card anyway, so it doesn't matter. Does the advert explain at all that ALL components of the network must be N compatible?

To be fair, the worst ISP routers I've seen are the most recent D-Link ones that TalkTalk are giving out. Even when it hasn't actually accepted the WAN login credentials it still shows a massive green tick on "Internet" in its less-than-helpful config pages.

In all fairness you always hear bad things about these Homehubs, but no one praises them, so I will... I've had mine a good 11months now and not had a problem with it at all. It's currently been connected for 65 days and is still as fast as it was back then. I find wireless hasn't been a problem on it at all. I found that it came with the wrong wireless channel selected however, so if you're having problems with the wireless try selecting a channel from 1-11, not all cards support 12 or 13, 11 is the most common.
