BTCC this weekend at Silverstone

Anyone going?

I'm thinking of going tomorrow to watch the practice / qualifying but not been to see the BTCC in a long time. How does the seating and grandstands work, ticket wise?

Am back Was pretty quiet there today which is actually quite good, as the paddock was open so could get a good look around without people getting in the way. Saw a couple of the BTCC drivers but some were hiding in the motorhomes.

New pit straight building still looks the same as it did a few months ago.

Cool. Didn't get any of them on track unfortunately, was either getting food/drinks or in the paddock etc.

Not sure what they were doing with the old part of the track. It was handy they allowed access across it just after the bridge, but it looks a bit worn out. I wonder if they are going to remove it. They could build another grandstand at Luffields there.

Really? Did they just have to abort it half way in?
