Bubbles in Loop, HELP!

Hello,

I built my first water cooling loop yesterday using the XSPC Raystorm RX240 kit. Leak test didn't fail and I ran for approx 5 hours. However there are lots of bubbles in the loop which I cant seem to get rid of. A few big bubbles. I've power cycled and tilted case but it doesn't seem to be working and is running loudly.

When I tilt the case in the direction of the motherboard tray bubbles appear to be gone and pump runs silently. I currently have the bay res/pump filled up to about 3/4(ran out of water).

Any tips or strategies for the community would be very much appreciated and my rig is now louder than it was on air!

Thanks in advance,
Shadow-King

EDIT: The bay/res Pump combo is this the link below. The rest of the kit is the

Raystorm CPU block
RX240 rad
XSPC Clear 7/16" Hose
G1/4 to 1/2 Barb x 6

Squeezing the tube sometimes helps, it took about week for all bubbles to disappear in mine.

Are you using a bay res or a tube res? If your using a tube I found releasing the seal cap every now and then releases the air pressure inside which seemed to help. I'm not sure if this would doable in a bay reservoir though. It took me about 2 days to rid the air bubbles in mine, squeezing the tube helped as well, also filling up the reservoir helped quite a bit as well as the fuller the system the less space there is for air to get trapped.

Using a Bay res. Im at work so cant reply too much. Gonna try lying it on its side and cycling power next. I have 2 spare PSUs in the room so its not a problem to start turning stuff upside down.

Does anyone think I need more water in the loop?

Always remember that pictures and a clear list of all the parts you want to talk about. Makes it easier for everyone trying to help. I have a XSPC bay / pump combo and it took around 2-4 days to get rid of all the bubbles. To clear the bubbles from my radiators I had to turn my case at every angle.

If the res level is so low that any incoming bubbles are being drawn back into the pump then yes do need more water.
Trapped air will eventually come out/dissolve over the next few days. if there are any large air pockets you might find that it will return to being noisy for a short time, but it will subside and settle down.

With tipping I find that after the initial effort any more simply ends up with air pockets you've accumulated in the res recycling, so I don't think its worth repeatedly repeating particularly if its a heavy system.

Shake the hell out of your case whilst everything is running, res levels will likely lower - open the fill port and top it up. Then rinse and repeat :) If you have a D5 you can try moving it from min-max pump speeds which can help too, along with squeezing tubes as mentioned (flicking them with your finger also works).

Once you get the big ones out it'll just take time for the rest to circulate back to the res, you may find for the first week or two your res levels keep going down - just top it up every now and then until the bubbles are all gone :)

Put your bay res on the top slot of your 5.25” bay if it is not located there yet and tilt your case so that the bay res is on the highest spot on your loop.

Thanks for all the advice everyone! Loop has been running silently all evening. Had to top it up a little and add some biocide but its alll good now :)
