Looking at getting a camera for my bike, not helmet, is the £99 GoPro the best option?

I've got a couple of cameras in my car that turn on/off automatically and record in 5 minute clips that overwrite the oldest file automatically when the SD card is full. Is there similar for bikes that doesn't cost the earth? It would be nice not having to charge it every evening if there is a way of powering it on the bike?

I came across RoadHawk Ride and Sport-Cam Mini HD2 but wondered if the GoPro is a better option?

Yep, easily the best camera for the price if you want a quality image, I just bought a second one for some arse action (rear view).

You can power is via USB while using it and have a rolling footage option (overwrites oldest video when full), but it doesn't auto record on USB power.

Sounds good, can it be powered whilst in a waterproof case? I probably won't be out in the rain but wouldn't want a camera being killed off by a random shower.
