Hi All,

I'm currently trying to piece together the best "bang for buck" gaming pc for a 1440p setup.
I've put together the following which comes out at £710 so could I please ask you knowledgable gents for a sense check on the build and ensure I'm not missing something:

Gigabyte B450 AORUS Pro Motherboard
Gigabyte B700H 80+ Bronze Certified PSU
AMD Ryzen 5 2600 6-core CPU
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4
Asrock Vega 56 Phantom
Corsair Carbide Series 275R
WD Blue 500GB SSD

Thanks

Going with that 2600 + Gigabyte bundle shure does save a lot.

Total doesn't quite match up with the prices I've come across (£719.10).

In any case, looks great bang for buck if you don't mind blower card.

£13 more will get you Team T-Force 3200MHz 16GB, to help squeeze the most of the Ryzen.

Phanteks Eclipse P300 with tempered glass for £49. Might help towards a better Vega 56 model.

Thanks Danny75, I wasn't quite sure if the 3200 ram would be a noticeable difference over the 3000 but I guess for the sake of £13 I may aswell.
I'm not particulary penny pinching on this build I just don't want to go crazy so it may be worth upgrading the vega 56 for the cooler.
I think I'm really just after reassurance that the vega is the right at this price point which I think it is and the Gigabyte PSU will cope with it.

I was hoping that Overclockers were going to be doing the Aorus bundle but I haven't seen a mention of it as yet.

The Gigabyte PSU should be fine. Really it's what makes that bundle work, because you can find 2600 and slightly better B450 Tomahawk for £230. But then you need PSU. And that's what makes that bundle tempting.

CCL does 3000hz 16GB Corsair for £85 which is nice saving to go with that deal.

Then the ASRock for £280 odd with 3 free games on top of 2nd copy of The Division 2 with ryzen 2600

CCL have gone through 40 of those bundles. Think that's the last one from what they mentioned
