Ok great thanks for ur help ill let u know how it goesRyzen 5 1600. Don't mix it up lol. But yeah
On amazon the 1600 is £160 + £5 shipping and the 1600x is £175 free shipping, is the 1600x better? i'm assuming it is, and would that be compatible still with all the other partsRyzen 5 1600. Don't mix it up lol. But yeah
I'm talking about the Ryzen 5 here just to clarifyOn amazon the 1600 is £160 + £5 shipping and the 1600x is £175 free shipping, is the 1600x better? i'm assuming it is, and would that be compatible still with all the other parts
Oh i just read that the 1600x doesn't come with the Wraith Spire cooler. So i would have to spend even more on a cooler, i'll just stick to the 1600 then i think but if you think otherwise please tell meRyzen 5 1600. Don't mix it up lol. But yeah

I can't decide on a case, i was looking at the corsair 270R but people said that it didn't have dust filters, is that a deal breaker? Would the Phanteks P400S be better? Or do you have a case to suggest of your own? I just wan't a plain black case not too flashy but with a glass side panel.@Matthew Sheridan stick to the 1600. The wraith cooler is pretty decent, and you can get a mild overclock using that. Dont waste your money getting the 1600x
Case is personal taste but I can say that the nzxt s340 is a lovely case and cools well
Ok i think i will go with that then, how often do you think i should clean it? And how do you clean it?Not really it wouldn't stop me buying it, should always give pc a clean every so often regardless of dust filters anyway
Depends on environment and just how clean you are too, but I clean my pc inside once every few months. It's in a smoke free house and pets generally don't go near it.Ok i think i will go with that then, how often do you think i should clean it? And how do you clean it?
Ok thanks, what do you think of the build we have been talking about? Any changes you would makeDepends on environment and just how clean you are too, but I clean my pc inside once every few months. It's in a smoke free house and pets generally don't go near it.
I just use vac with brush end never do any damage though many people will shout at me for that, I also blast it with air too. Of course do it whilst pc off lol
That but Corsair CX550M 550W power supply instead of 450W£350 – gtx 1070
£250 – ryzen and Gigabyte Ga-AB350 5 OR i5 6600k and Mobo
£80 – £100 8gb DDR4 ram
£80 – samsung Evo 250gb 2.5 inch SSD
£60/70 – Case
£25 – Corsair 450W power supply used from cousin
Hard drive i already own.
I can probably ask someone i know who works with computers to lend my a monitor for a while for free
Total: £850
How does that setup sound?
What about corsair 270R or p400s? How much would it cost for a decent fan?Phanteks p300 should fit the bill nicely. Although you'll need to get an extra fan or 2 as it inlo has 1 fan pre installed
I dont quite have the budget for that yet, i could upgrade to that in the future, my birthday is in may so i could ask for some thenLooks good to me, though I'd try push to 16gb if possible. When I was on 8gb on previous pc , I found some games used it up quickly
Out of the 2, I'd go for the p400. 270r looks a bit cheap imo. Paying Corsair tax. What about corsair 270R or p400s? How much would it cost for a decent fan?
