Budget Gaming PC

2700 or 3600 - if gaming at 1440p could stretch out the 2700x . though 3600 is the smarter choice even with lower core count ( just saves a little cash )

If you haven't got a gaming monitor i.e 1080p 120hz Plus monitor , or 1440p 60hz monitor then worth looking at and AMD versions are cheaper! if your rocking 1080p 60hz screen then RTX 2060 is a little overkill personally ! and can save cash

slightly more then zotac 2060 but 8gb vrma vs 6GB and 2 free games plus XBox pass for 3 months

AMD age like fine wine - just really need to get a top tier GPU out in the open fast

PSU is 7 yr warranty as well, semi modular. Both have excellent RMA with straight swap of component. Only difference is Seasonic will come from Germany , Corsair will come Direct from UK warehouse (depending on your brexit view and worries etc etc etc )

(also both have their PSU repaired in Germany by a 3rd party then resold at discounted pricing )

Thanks guys, I'd probably look at getting one of theses monitors or something similar in the near future.

I'm torn between getting something like suggested and using it or 6 months and selling (moving countries, no desk/office) or something like XMG Fusion 15 (I realize the hefty price difference but I understand there might be a mobile gpu refresh shortly?).

Aorus monitor happily works with G-sync and Freeysnc - isn't offically support yet but should be soon - hopefully rep and confirm @GIGA-Man ?

Havent seen to much issues with 120hz gaming between VA and IPS - but not a current hardcore FPS gamer and more RTS

as for laptops - same price but larger Ram and SSD

or could go cheaper and then run eGPU enclosure in the future for more GPU power as with these laptops the CPUs will last a good while!

My only concern is regarding the AMD driver issues I keep hearing about. i'd love to support team red but as I'm going to sell this machine in 6 months I don't want something plagued by issues.

I read through the thread and couldn't see anything out of the ordinary for VA monitors. It seemed like ultimately all monitor types have their own respective problems and that unless you pay quite a lot you can't avoid all issues. From what 've seen they look good enough to me at the price.

After some consideration I think i'll get a PC for a few months, sell it and pick up a laptop q2/q3 this year once we see the new gpus/cpus

looks solid !

2 free games and X Box 3 month game pass helps the AMD GPUs gain some extra value !

personally would save a little on the M.2 as you wouldn't notice the change in speed to be fare, not with gaming and spend a little more on mATX case.
Silverstone mATX has one of the highest airflow rates , that case above has trouble breathing !

£40 saving. Also swapped out PSU - higher wattage if you increase GPU at later date . 5 yr warranty vs 7 though- but is UK RMA like corsair and rep support

b-grade Ryzen 3600 will hit £1150

main diff with the costs between the two monitors is G-sync support for Aorus at a later date and DCI-PG RGB . AOC doesn't support or rating not stated but former gives more Green and red colour scale.
Converting Aorus to sRGB in settings is about 99% sRGB coverage

1440p monitor is a game good steal at that price and would sell well! Aorus monitor is def one for FPS with features to help cheat slightly without getting banned
