Budget Graphics Card

the 5770 says: Display Connectors: 2 Dual-Link DVI-I, 1 HDMI & 1 DisplayPort

but the images dont show HDMI connectors? :S

Sorry, yes that XFX HD 5770 single slot doesn't have any native HMDI ports, but you can just use a cheap adapter like this (or a cable like this) to get a HDMI connection out of it. There will be no loss in image quality as the video signal used by DVI and HDMI is the same.

Ok will the sound still be transferred through the DVI port thing?

Ah, if you need audio out of a HDMI port it can be more complex. The only DVI to HDMI adapters that certainly pass over the audio properly to HDMI are the ATI branded adapters that come with their cards. This may seems like a hassle, but they are readily available online (think auction sites) and pretty cheap. It's a shame the XFX single slot 5770 doesn't come with one.

I've used that adaptor you linked with my GTX480 and it outputs sound to my Sony TV. I use the one that came with my GTX480 though because the screws are easier to tighten/loosen.

Ah, excellent (you mean this adapter, right?). I suspected it might, but the only adapter that I knew would work was the the ATI one. I guess a much wider range of them work with sound than I previously thought.
