Hi guys sorry if im in the wrong place, But im about to start on FF:ARR and i am looking to save up for a new computer or the components to make my own.

Im not looking to spend a lot and was just wondering if any of you guys had any suggestions to what sort of system i could get that plays the game well, Just looking to not get slowed down with all the animations and stuff going on in the bigger fights.

At the moment im playing on a rubbish Dell XPS 420, which has been the same way ever since i got it barring a different Graphics card that my friend gave me as my old one died, i wouldnt mind upgrading this computer if possible but to me it just seems to old, any input would be great and sorry again if this is in the wrong place.

I know its not a lot but around £500, like i said im not looking for anything spectacular just want to be able to enjoy the game,
Thanks!

The Gpu is on pre-order and the case is OoS, so you would need to ask in CS when they expect delivery.
You can reuse you hdd and optical drive. All orders seem to have free delivery atm, I don`t know how long this is for, as I can`t find any info. Maybe RJC knows.

Thanks for the replies, it may take me a little to get the money together sadly :(
But i will be on Moogle i think, I do have a character on odin but most friends are on moogle if i can get on there.

What about you guys

No you are sorted. psu will have power cables and the motherboard will have what you need. :)

I would echo the call for an ssd. Load times will vastly improve. It is however your call.

I have a friend who swears by intel and not AMD, Is it possible to get a build with an intel i5 in there for not too much more than my budget, or would i be better off sticking with the AMD set up
Thanks

Is it possible to get a spec with
Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40GHz (Ivybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor (77W) - OEM
In it with the appropriate motherboard for not much more than £600 ish?
Looking for a build that will last me a few years
also is there much difference with the i5-3570 and the 3570k?
Thanks!

Why do you want to go to a 3570k?

You might as well go for the 4670k OEM CPU and after market cooler.

Edit: CPU and motherboard spec below, Motherboard comes with free CPU cooler.
