Which is the best sound card around £30-40 which I can connect my Logitech X530 speakers?

asus xonar dgx is the best value. only £25 squidlys

Xonar DG/DS, I'm not actually too sure on how they differ.

DG is 5.1 surround sound
DS is 7.1 surround sound
DGX is same as DG but uses pci express as opposed to the older pci slot.

all have a headphone amp though.

I have a Xonar DG its the first and only sound card ive ever owned it was £25 makes a very big difference...and its way better when using headphones too , sadly my speakers dont have an Optical in

Just ordered the Xonar DGX, on offer this week at £21. Reviews seem very good for it. I wanted 5.1 output over optical (which my mobo doesn't provide - WHY?!?) and it has good reviews.

i had a dg and upgraded to a ds because the dg audio centre app kept switching the audio output to headphone whenever the pc hibernated. the ds also has one upgradable opamp if you have a mind to swap in something like a lm4562 or a opa2162.

what motherboard do you have and what graphics card?
