Hi all happy new year too you

Its that time again my system for work is in very bad shape so i have desided to upgrade here is the problem i need to build a system for only £300

all i need to do is some paperwork and some basic games a lot of storage for pics a my kids take 1000s my problem is whats compatable

Its do-able. I recently built a whole PC for someone (including 20" monitor) for £330. Assuming you still have a monitor from your last PC you could easily manage it.

The spec I used for this PC had a mobo with onboard VGA which obviously won't do for gaming.

You'd save money going AMD too.
