Hi
Have a linkstation pro duo (i think) the ls 500 model. have had problems with the disk appearing not to be spinning up and had red error lights come up on the disk 2 indicator, bought new hdd and same problem!
sequence:
turn on,
disks power up (or at least one!)
long beep followed by red light on id2
power and id1 come on
all 3 on for couple of seconds
then id1 goes off and you can hear hdd activity and access files.
fan turns off
could it be an issue with the controller?
