Hi,

Since I put internet explorer 7 rc1 on my pc I cant log into my router settings (bebox). I enter the user id and password correctly 3 times and then a not authorized page comes up and something about intranet settings being turned off. My brother can still log in on his pc using ie6. We both have the same AV and firewall software so I know its not that. Do I have to change a setting in ie7 somewhere?
Thanks

use firefox
or
clear your temp internet files, and press CTRL + F5 (hard refresh) when it happens again.
its because IE7 is stupid and cashes the files even if you don't want it to.

Didn't work:( The message I get is
HTTP/1.0 401 Authorization Required

Try downloading Opera/Firefox and connecting that way if it's something important.

Can't see any other way around it.

Thanks, Firefox worked:) Hope they fix the bug in ie7 soon, I like it a lot better than ie6 (the page zoom is great for short-sighted people like me:)).

Same thing happened with me, i have BT broadband and the HomeHub router thingy (which is just rebranded Thompson Speedtouch of soem kind i think). I had to roll back to IE6 to be able to log into my controls. Quite annoying to say the least.

Have you made sure you're not logged into it anywhere else? On our router for some strange reason it only allows one person per time. Might be the same on yours?
