Bug inside monitor

The other day a random black spot appeared on my screen. It wouldn't go away, so I thought it was a dead pixel (even though it wasn't just 1 single pixel, it was a tiny little strip).

Now today, there's another tiny little black thing. I believe it's one of these guys (which are bloody annoying in this weather).

Since the window is just behind my monitor, it appears that these 2 little bugs crawled inside the back of my monitor and died.

How the hell am I going to get them out? It's rather annoying.

Happens to me every few years, currently both my main monitors have 1 in each :(

Don't crush it and make it stick, wait for it to dry out and then knock (quite hard) the screen and see if it will drop down to the bottom where you can't see it.

If that doesn't work then try a suction cup on the screen over the bug and pull it back then knock again to see if that works.

I had some luck with that method on an old BenQ LCD but no luck at all on current ones.

Good luck!

Can't quite see it, can you point the camera up and left a bit? Oh, and what's your mother's maiden name? :p

It's a thrip, isn't it? I had some in a Dell 2409, they were alive for a while, died and then eventually dropped down out of sight
