Hi all,
Been rebuilding my system over the last few days when I get the odd spare couple of hours and all was going well until I tried fitting my cpu waterblock - heatkiller. I was so fixated with getting the backplate on properly that when I screwed the mounts in by hand I turned the board round to find I had forgotten to put the washer on the other side too. 2 out of 4 holes are fine but the other 2 now have a copper line on each exposed. It could be completely fine but then again it might not be and I know it will play on my mind now. I have a few options really:
a) Put it back on air and test for a few days and all being well re-watercool it.
b) Jack it in and get a new motherboard / ram / cpu - I have a 5% discount to use at OC.
c) Get a second hand board so I can use cpu and ram
d) Give up, ha.
Any advice would be great.
